Spin-exchange-induced spin-orbit coupling in a superfluid mixture[2018-04-22]

We are a Cold Atom Theory (CAT) group working on the theories of ultracold atomic gases. Currently there are 19 members in this group and we study: quantum simulation of one-dimensional exactly solvable models with cold atoms, topological excitation and spin dynamics in spinor Bose-Einstein condensation, and spin-orbit coupling and topological bands in quantum gases.

The group leader, Prof. Dr. Yunbo Zhang(张云波), also undertakes teaching tasks for College of Physics and Electronic Engineering, the Class of Training Base of State Fundamental Science(基地班).

Our seminar is regularly scheduled at 19:30 every Thursday in the Seminar Room on the 4th floor of Phyics Building.
